DockerCon week is a busy week with so much information to absorb, people to meet and talks to attend. Here’s a quick agenda summary to make sure you know how to plan your travel and get the most out of your DockerCon Europe experience in Copenhagen. Register for DockerCon Europe 2017 Monday 16 October Monday is when the first attendees start arriving for DockerCon. Attendees who have signed up for Paid-Workshops or want to check in and pick up their badge and backpacks early should plan to be in Copenhagen by Monday morning. Monday is also a great day to get a jump start on meeting other attendees. DockerCon Returns to Europe in 2017

DockerCon is making its return to Europe next year! DockerCon Europe will be held in the beautiful city of Copenhagen, Denmark at Bella Center Copenhagen from October 16 – October 18, 2017. We plan on opening the week on Monday, October 16 with paid trainings and workshops, then General Session will kick off the conference the morning of Tuesday October 17 and the conference will continue through Wednesday October 18. Three reasons why we are excited about DockerCon Europe in Copenhagen   On behalf of the entire Docker team, it’s safe to say that we cannot wait to reunite with the Docker Community in Europe under one roof again! Local Docker Meetup chapters take place every week to fuel the community enthusiasm, but there is something special about coming together for DockerCon and collaborating, learning and networking as a big group. Andrey Sibiryov Reflects on Speaking at DockerCon EU 2015

DockerCon EU 2015 speaker Andrey Sibiryov currently works as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Uber Technologies, concentrating on metrics and observability. He was also the lead developer of the Cocaine Cloud platform and led the Cloud Technologies department at Yandex in addition to working on the Helios CI/CD platform for Docker at Spotify. Andrey presented a talk at DockerCon EU 2015 titled “Kernel load-balancing for Docker containers using IPVS” that was one of the attendees’ favorites from the conference. Andrey recently chatted with us to discuss his work and why he spoke at DockerCon EU 2015.

Laura Frank Explains Why She Spoke at DockerCon EU 2015

Laura Frank is an engineer who creates tools to make development processes simpler. She started coding after receiving a hand-me-down DOS system and has been lost in the code mines ever since. She currently works at Codeship as a software engineer working on their Docker tool. She presented a talk at DockerCon EU 2015 titled “Stop Being Lazy and Test Your Software” that was one of the top 5 talks presented at the conference! It was also happened to be one of our favorites from the conference. Laura recently chatted with us to discuss her work and why she spoke at DockerCon EU 2015.
