We’re excited to highlight two new Official Images that we added to Docker Hub in April. These images are the latest additions to a growing library of quality content maintained by Docker and our partners.
Check them out:
Drupal is a free and open-source content-management framework written in PHP and distributed under the GNU General Public License. It is used as a back-end framework for at least 2.1% of all sites worldwide, ranging from personal blogs to corporate, political, and government sites including WhiteHouse.gov and data.gov.uk. It is also used for knowledge management and business collaboration.
The Rakudo Star image is notable in that it is owned and maintained by the Rakudo open-source team. We’re thrilled by their commitment to support a Docker version of the distribution.
Docker users have pulled Official Images over 46 million times for use in both development and production environments. These images are the containerized building blocks that allow Docker users to build modular applications. We’re excited to add Drupal and Rakudo Star to the Docker community.
