This is a casual Docker tutorial series. We started out first with very simple sessions on how to install Docker and use the docker run command. In future videos we will hit more advanced topics.

This third video talks about Docker volumes. We explain the difference between volumes filesystems and basic Docker image filesystems. As with the previous tutorials there will a number of command line demonstrations showing uses of various Docker commands.

rather than make us watch a 20 minute video, would it be possible to have ‘slides’ that we could check out quickly before investing that much time in the videos ?

Well, for our team, the video was helpful, and we thank John very much for it!
Vince — your manners and self-control seem to be lacking, and I feel bad for you. It’s hard to believe anyone _made_ you watch this video. I’m sure you’re normally a great person, but you might get along better in this world if you were to always treat others with respect, and even show a shred of appreciation — what goes around comes around.
Keep up the great work, Docker team, and thanks!
