We’re excited to highlight two new Official Repos that we added to Docker Hub in May. These repos are the latest additions to a growing library of curated content maintained by Docker and our partners.
Check them out:
Apache Cassandra is an open-source, distributed database management system designed to handle large amounts of data across many commodity servers, providing high availability with no single point of failure. Cassandra offers robust support for clusters spanning multiple datacenters, with asynchronous masterless replication allowing low latency operations for all clients.
SonarQube is an open-source platform for continuous inspection of code quality. SonarQube uses a plugins system to cover over 20 languages, including Java, C#, C/C++, PL/SQL, Cobol, and ABAP. The SonarQube repo is notable in that it is owned and maintained by the SonarQube team. We’re excited by their commitment to support a Docker version of the distribution.
Docker users have pulled Official Repos over 53 million times for use in both development and production environments. These repos are the containerized building blocks that allow Docker users to build modular applications. We’re excited to add Cassandra and SonarQube to the Docker library.
